If you are already on Pro, the month stacks: when your paid subscription ends, your account stays Pro until the earned window runs out. If you are not on Pro yet, the first earned month activates Pro for you right away, for 30 days.
It works for agencies the same way it works for individuals. Share your link with a client whose domain is failing, let them run the free audit, and if they bring their monitoring in-house with Pro, you keep a month of your own.
No. The link just gives them the same free audit anyone gets. Referral tracking happens on our side, and we never show it to them.
